YouTube Videos about Creating in Minecraft!

Hey there, my name is Mysty!

I've been making YouTube videos since 2008 and been playing Minecraft since 2009! In my videos, I primarily use Command Blocks, Redstone, Datapacks, and Plugins to make unique creations & mini-games in Vanilla Minecraft to troll my friends with!

You can watch those videos here.

How I got started

I was about 8 years old when my grandpa Appi gave me my first video camcorder. It was very large, very heavy, and recorded onto small casette tapes. And I loved it!

Every day after school, my friends & I would make movies in the back yard. However, my friends weren't always available so I needed to find something to film when I was by myself. That's when I started getting into Lego stop-motion videos! I probably filmed hundreds of hours of Lego videos before I started to become more interested in my grandpa's computer.

I eventually figured out how to transfer my camcorder footage onto the computer and started my first YouTube channel in 2008! However, it was quite a tedious process (especially for a 10 year-old), so I was starting to look for ways to make videos on the computer itself without the camcorder. That's when I started getting into Pivot Stick-Figure Animator and Mario Sprite animations!

But then in 2009, I found a game called Minecraft. I've played it almost every day since. At the time, I was super into building mini-games in Halo and a robot television show called Battle-Bots, so the technical side of Minecraft was very appealing to me. By the time I got to high school, I had accumulated enough understanding of coding logic that I became the president and founder of my local Robotics Club!

My robotics teacher had asked me to film a redstone logic-gate tutorial to show to the robotics classes and ever since that video I've never stopped recording my technical endeavors!

Inspirations

Growing up, I had many inspirations that pushed me to get my content to where it is today. I'd like to give a massive thanks to SethBling, AntVenom, Avondale and the Noxcrew team, SimpleFlips, PowerPalette, and Vinny Vinesauce for inspiring my creativity and pushing me to make the best content I can!
